With the annual license, you get unlimited permits, unlimited users, and unlimited facilities/locations within your district. This annual fee also includes software hosting, customer support for district-based staff, and ongoing web-based training.
* This includes the total number of elementary, middle, high and K-12 schools within the district. Alternative, special education, continuation and community day schools are not considered when calculating the annual license fee!

No, performing arts centers and other similar district own locations do not increase the annual license fee. These locations can be added to Civic Permits and made available for rental without any increase in fees. Civic Permits is licensed solely based on the number of traditional and comprehensive schools.
No, you can cancel your Civic Permits agreement at any time and the cancellation will be in effect for the next annual renewal term.
Yes, should your districts close schools such that it results in reclassifying your district into a different annual license tier, your annual license fee will be reduced respectively effective the year after the schools are closed. When your district closes schools, it is important to officially notify Civic Permits of this change prior to your annual renewal, so we can reassess your annual license fee.
Yes, the Civic Permits Mobile App is free download for Civic Permits customers, and will work with any Civic Permits license. There are no extra fees to use the mobile app.
Yes, we offer an Enterprise license model which allows a district to pay a one-time license fee with no annual license fees. This license fee is substantially more of an upfront cost, and is not based on the number of schools in the district. With an Enterprise license, a district hosts the software internally on district-owned hardware and new major releases to the software can be purchased on a perpetual basis. Optional software maintenance and support services can be provided to the district on an annual basis at a cost of 20% of the Enterprise license fee. The one-time setup fee is also required with an Enterprise license fee and the setup fee determined by number of schools.
The Enterprise option is an ideal model for large districts or districts with IT departments that wish to write custom modules to integrate Civic Permits with an accounts receivable and/or scheduling/calendaring systems.
